Thomas   Dolan

Thomas “Tugboat” L. Dolan, 75, a lifelong resident of Bronx, NY passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012. Mr. Dolan was a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  An avid fisherman, Big Tom enjoyed sports.

 

Prior to retiring in 1992, he was an emergency service mechanic with Con Edison in New York for thirty years.

 

Loving and devoted father of Thomas B. Dolan and wife Michele.  Cherished grandfather of Thomas and Alexis Dolan.  Beloved brother of Butch Dolan and wife, Cathy, Patrick Dolan and Toni, Vincent Dolan and Elizabeth, John Dolan and wife Grace.  He is predeceased by his brother, Gerard Dolan and sisters, Kathleen Cardinale and Ann Dolan.

 

A funeral mass is planned for Thursday, July 12, 2012, 10:30 AM at St. Anne R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook, NJ.  The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, 201-797-3500.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Thomas may be made to the Disabled American Veterans National Service Foundation, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250.
