Joseph  Spano

Joseph T. Spano, 47, of Saddle Brook, NJ passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.  Born in Paterson, NJ, he was a lifetime resident of Saddle Brook.  He proudly served with the U.S. National Guard.  Mr. Spano was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Saddle Brook, NJ.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, camping and motorcycle riding. 

 

Joe was employed as a construction technician with Granite Works in Deer Park, Long Island, NY.

 

Loving and devoted father of Joseph James Spano.  Beloved son of Stephen and Josephine (Cubisino) Spano.  Dear brother of Deborah Chodakowsky and Stephen, Daniel and Andrew Spano.  He is also survived by nine loving nieces and nephews.

 

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, May 5, 2012, 9:30 AM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, 201-797-3500.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Saddle Brook.  The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
